Product Description

No matter your baking skill level, SAF-INSTANT™ Gold is a premium instant dry yeast product that can aid in your journey to master baking.

 

Derived from selected yeast strains and specific industrial processes, our product reduces the dough proofing time compared to active dry yeast while ensuring the full development of complex flavours obtained from yeast fermentation.

 

As a baker, you will be glad when you see how our finely extruded yeast easily and evenly combines with dry ingredients. And when you see your dough rise strong and steadily, you know you have used quality yeast with SAF-INSTANT™ Gold.

 

SAF-INSTANT™ Gold is specifically formulated for high-sugar doughs containing 5% to 20% sugar by weight of flour.

 

Ideal uses include croissants, yeasted waffles, confections like doughnuts, and other sweet breads such as brioche and babka.

Instructions For Use

Simply add the product into dry flour and mix well. Our instant dried yeast does not require rehydration before use.

 

Avoid placing SAF-INSTANT™ Gold in contact with ice or iced water.

Storage & Shelf Life

Always store the product in a cool, dry place, away from heat. Refrigeration is not required for unopened products.

 

Vacuum packaging ensures unopened products can be stored for up to 2 years from production date (see packaging).

 

Once opened, the product must be used within 48 hours. If required, extend the shelf life of an opened product by up to 8 days by sealing it.
