Beer Bread

Don’t be fooled by its appearance and name. This moist, dense, and chewy yet light bread is filled with malty and yeasty flavour that’s perfect for toast and sandwiches.

PREPARE THE DOUGH

  1. Place all the dough ingredients into the mixer.
  2. Mix for 4 minutes on low speed and 3 minutes on high speed.
  3. Final dough temperature should be approximately 25˚C.
  4. Place the dough into a bowl, cover and let it rest for 60 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Separately, mix the beer topping ingredients together with a whisk, fill it into a piping bag and set aside.

SHAPING

  1. Divide the dough into 4 pieces at approximately 300g each and let it rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Shape each dough into a triangle shape or any shape you prefer.
  3. Pipe the beer topping mixture onto the dough with your preferred design.
  4. Let the dough rest for approximately 60 minutes at 25˚C.

BAKING

  1. Preheat oven at 250˚C and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Set the breads aside to cool before serving.
